Spirit Fingers . . .

This is Hailey all ready to leave for her first day of pre school!! She loved everything about it and can't wait to go back. It was cute, she thought she would get home and know how to read! I love her attitude! She had no problems being dropped off at school in the morning, and was so ready for this! She loved play time outside on something she calls a roller coaster, I will have to check that out one of these times! I thought my time without Hailey would be pretty easy with just one kid, but I had to entertain her the whole time! I sure missed Hailey playing with her little sister! Any who, Hailey gets to bring the snack to her class tomorrow, she is bringing cheese and crackers.

Just another post bout nothin

Just a few cute pictures of the girls from a day or two ago. Everyone has colds over here, it hasn't been fun. I am hoping Hailey gets better before her first day of school on Tuesday! Shon has been very busy working from early in the morning and not getting home until around 8 all week. I don't know how single mom's do it! I miss his help though.
I love summer, but I am looking forward to fall weather! YEA! Hopefully coming soon!

Interesting

I was just going through my pictures from this past week and noticed how differently colored my two girls are. It's funny. We always knew that Hailey took after Shon and McKenzie had a bit more of me in her, but this is pretty funny. Any who, here is the comparison.

Happy Labor Day

So I am posting the other Disneyland pictures that I finally got developed. We really did have a blast. Today was pretty uneventful, but productive. We got the place cleaned up and Shon spent some time in the garage clearing stuff out so we can get rid of our storage unit! Hailey starts school in one week and I am so excited for her. I hope she loves it! I just can't believe it, the time flies! I pulled out my scrap booking stuff last night, which I haven't done in forever! It was pretty therapeutic.

The Offspring

So we took our trip to Disneyland on Monday. It was so much fun, but very warm! I, of course, forgot my camera in the car, so we bought a disposable one at the park, which was pricey! I will get those developed later, but I snapped this picture with my phone on the Tea Cups. The girls loved it! This is the 3rd time we have been there this year, and they get more and more fun each time we go. They are starting to love the rides more and more. Hailey loves to stand in line and meet the princesses and McKenzie loves them from a far. Their favorite ride was Dumbo and the Tea Cups!

Vacation Time . . .

We started out at the Aquarium of the Pacific, it was fun and such a nice day. McKenzie loved the sharks, you could get so close to them! Hailey couldn't wait to see the Nemo fish, which we saw plenty of! Today we soaked up the sun at the beach. I don't know why we don't go more often, it's less than an hour away. McKenzie hated sand for the first 30 minutes or so, but then fell in love and started to play and throw it all over the place. Hailey enjoyed building a sand castle with her dad. We ate most of the time. I love the beach!

Call me Dr. Petersen DDS

So for the last 10 - 15 years, I have been doing my own dental work. That's right, there is no trick to it, I fill my own teeth. The last time I went to a Dentist, probably in 1997 or so, I went to the Dental School in Loma Linda University, they gave me a temporary filling, that I have been filling myself with the stuff you buy at Target. It only lasts a few months, then you have to fill it again. Any who, I chipped a wisdom tooth last week, and it was very sharp and cutting up my cheeks inside my mouth, so I threw some temp. filling on it to soften the edges. It worked pretty good, but last night I was up all night with a tooth ache. So with no Dental insurance, I went in today and had them pull it! Of course they want to pull the rest and fill a cavity, and do root canal on a different tooth. Its like taking your car in for an oil change and having them call you to tell you all the things wrong with your car and they recommendations you should have done. I told them, nope, just pull the wisdom tooth for now, I'll be back. (in another 10 yrs!) : )

So 2 shots, and about 5 minutes, it was out and done! I lived to tell the story. I did all this while my children napped at home with Aunt Morgan! Thanks Mic! As if she didn't have enough on her plate right now!
Just thought I would add a pic of the girls, McKenzie's crazy hair cracks me up!
