We will miss Summer . . .

The girls and I have been having so much fun being outside and playing in the water. Summer will be missed out here in Menifee! Hailey grows up a bit each day, I think. Last night our family was all sitting on the couch talking and Hailey says, "Lets play a game guys." We were like, what game do you want to play? She said she wanted to play Hide and Seek. We didn't know she knew that one, so we played in the dark house for a bit, it was fun watching her hunt for one of us, a bit scared and timid.

The girls also love when Shon gets the big map out and the love looking for where the Princesses live.

Princess Hailey

So my sister in law made Hailey and about 7 other little girls these dresses to be in a family wedding. She loved it!! She really acted the part prancing around holding her dress up on both sides at this wedding. We took some of the girls to the park a few days later for a mini photo shoot. Hailey was in heaven, dancing around and posing, just thought I would share a few. I love my new camera!

Vacation

We are home from vacation! We had so much fun and the girls hated to leave. We were in Jackson Meadows, North of Lake Tahoe. It was Shon's family reunion, and there were about 70 people there. His family is so much fun, and we had this nice lake all to ourselves. The best luxury was the trailer we rented. A little nicer than a tent! It was nice to have a bed at the end of the day and a shower!

Lucky Me . . .

As I sat outside catching some rays with my girls today, I thought to myself how lucky I am. I don't miss out on anything they do or say and I get to play all day long. Sure, cleaning and cooking isn't always fun, but the good far out weighs the bad! Here is what our Monday morning was like: We got up, had breakfast between 7:30 and 8, changed diapers, got my tank top and shorts on and went outside! The girls played in the backyard in their house, chasing butterflies and squirting water on each other and I sat back, worked on my tan and took pictures.

Milestones

So, we had Hailey's 3rd Birthday this past weekend. It was fun. WOW how those last 3 years have flown by! She had a wonderful time, loved her presents and Birthday balloons. We had a castle cake and everything princess for the Princess! All her favorite people were there.

I am trying to keep these birthday parties low key because I don't want to have to out do myself year after year. She doesn't mind, as long as her family and cake are present. We only had about 16 people.

Now if this adorable kid would just sit on the potty more!!!

Blog What?

Hello Family and Friends. I am new to the blogging world, but I hear it's a great way to keep everyone updated and informed. We are doing great, living in Menifee, Ca now. It's our third house we have lived in since we got married, so that is fun and exciting. I think we both hate moving equally now. The girls have adjusted to it and the new house. Hailey is going to be 3 in a few short weeks, and we can't believe it! She is very smart and girly. Loves Princesses, dresses, dancing, singing, and shopping. McKenzie is a little different. She is 14 months now and is rough, hates dresses or skirts, hates to be in the car or shopping, loves dogs and her big sister. She throws anything she gets her hands on she also dances to any commercial or music she hears.

Shon is so busy flying and trying to finish up his helicopter schooling and very busy working as a Project Engineer at UCR.

I am busy cleaning up after two very busy little girls and changing lots of diapers, fun huh? But I do get to sit on the floor a lot and play Princess with the castle. Also dress up and be a hair dresser. I do have the life!
