Kinder Olympics!

McKenzie had Kinder Olympics during the last week of school and it was fun and HOT! She did good and had fun.  Now we are looking forward to a great year in FIRST grade!

This was McKenzie's Birthday we spent at the beach. We ditched school and had a blast that day! We Love you McKenzie! Happy 6th Birthday!

What my mornings consist of . . .

Having 3 girls, this is pretty much all I do in the mornings besides make lunches and breakfast:  Find shoes, find outfits for everyone, then find back up outfits because McKenzie is really picky about what she wears, create 3 hair dos, find homework, which for some reason has been scattered all over the place, then I find shoes, again, then I say the words, Brush your teeth at least 35 times. It's fun and WE CAN'T WAIT FOR SUMMER!!!

McKenzie also says she LOVES her family.  We played hookie and took the girls to the beach for McKenzie's birthday. They had lots of fun. We ate lunch at the Diner on the Pier and had chocolate shakes. McKenzie is so sweet and so unique.  She has an interesting fashion sense and is very creative!

The kids and Spring Break!

So our break is coming to an end and my two oldest are currently spending the night at their cousins house, so I find myself with some time to add some updates. First of all, my kids are so adorable, I couldn't wait to have them all to myself for Spring Break and for the most part it went well, with little bickering and fighting and the "mom, I am bored" phrase. It was fun, we relaxed, went to the park, watched movies, played games, built forts. I really enjoyed them and I am a little sad to see them head back to school next week. Our newest addition, Ruger, the adorable German Shepard pup you see next to my very handsome Coop, is doing very well.  He is a fun pup and learning little by little. Cooper is keeping him in line for us.

Still Kickin

So we are still here and alive! I am on the brink of SPRING BREAK! I might be more excited than the kids. The idea of not fighting over homework, packing lunches and negotiating outfits to wear to school, has me pretty thrilled! Addy is hiding in the above picture. This was our little fam at the Ward party.  Our Stake changed all the boundries of the wards, and we got moved! I miss that ward so bad, but I am not as busy! No new calling yet! The girls had their Cougar Run to raise money that day, so they were tired. McKenzie ran 9 laps, and Hailey ran 11 laps.

The next picture is the other little creature keeping us busy! My mom brought home a German Shepard puppy, and he is cute! Meet Ruger!

Finally!

So the pictures aren't great, and that sweet bookshelf doesn't belong, but here is the new paint in our room! I was so excited to feel like I am not living in a dorm anymore. The room hadn't been painted in like 13 yrs! It was time. I love it, it feels so fresh and clean. I am going to do a bit more decorating like adding in some accent color and drapes when the tax return money gets here!
On an updating note: We are busy, these girls and their playdates, school and energy keep us going. I was called in the Relief Society over Enrichment and Shon is still in scouts, so we are pretty busy.
