Another Day . . .

Hailey got this cute new bathing suit for her birthday from my brother and his wife. She loves it and one day we were headed out to the backyard for some swimming, and she asked me to take her picture in it!! I can't believe her sometimes, she is getting so big and so funny. She will dress up in some princess dress and always ask me if I will take her picture.
So I have been fine, just enjoying the everyday details that involve raising two wild girls! Hailey has recently taken a liking for not going to bed! It has been taking us about an hour to get her to stay in bed some nights. She loves trying our patience. My sister in law got me all into the Twilight craze. Those books by Stephenie Meyer. I love them. I am just on the second one now, but I can't wait for the movie in Dec. I have to admit, I am a fan. All my spare time is going to that. I am also trying to plan a mini vacation over a long weekend for us. We have to go somewhere, before I go crazy! Shon can only take a few days off work, so we will stay local. There is the update, needed or not.

Happy Birthday, Hailey!!

So my little Angel turns 4 today! Actually at 1:11 am last night! I gave her 1 early gift this morning, because making her wait until 7 when everyone gets here, is just cruel! She is so excited it's her birthday today. I don't know where the last 4 years have gone, but Hailey is a pure joy. She is sweet, and a people pleaser. Plus, she is pretty darn funny and smart too! She loves her family and most of all, she loves Elephants! Ernie is her very best friend.

Happy Birthday Punkin! I love you, and you changed my entire world!

So I just realized I haven't posted anything in awhile. It's been a crazy month! A few days after my last post, I got news that a good friend of mine passed away. He was such a wonderful guy. Travis Alexander lived in Arizona, but he used to live in Riverside, where I lived for about 3 years and he was such a great person and influenced so many. His death was sudden and tragic, so I have been having a hard time wrapping my head around it.
On a lighter note, we did move again. We aren't totally done though. We have more than half of our garage left at our old house in Menifee. We have to tackle that this weekend, and our storage unit is about full!! We moved to a nice big house in Murrieta. We are renting it and hope to be here a bit longer than our other residences! Moving stinks, and the day we moved, it was about 110 degrees outside! The pics are from the week before we moved, the girls playing in the water outside. They love it. ~ A special thanks to my dear mother in law for staying with me for a week and helping me pack up, clean up and move stuff! If it weren't for her, I would have sat on the couch and given up on the whole ordeal! She is so organized, I love it.

The Park

These were taken with my cell phone, so they aren't great, but I have nothing else to post about since we are just packing and cleaning and making storage runs!

We have this little park basically across the street from my house, so the girls were fighting and getting restless today, and we decided to go over there to run around.

Potty Training, again????

So I had about a 5 month break from potty training Hailey, and is it really time to to it again!??? Hailey had taken down McKenzie's pants, taken her diaper off by herself, and had her sit on the potty after Hailey had gone potty. She then went to get some reading material and read to her sister on the potty for about 10 minutes!!! Perfect. If I play my cards right, I won't have to potty train the next kid!

The Big Surprise

Okay, so apparently my family was planning a big surprise party for my 30th! It was so fun, and a huge surprise! I had no idea. There were a few friends there from a long ago that was really fun to see again! Here are a few pics of the event. Thanks to all involved, was a great day!

I made it

So, I made it to 30! That's right folks, I turned 30 yesterday. I would love to say I had a nice relaxing day followed up by a crazy party, but that isn't the case. It's so funny how birthday's change once you have kids. Hailey was very sweet to me all day and told me Happy Birthday at least 50 times, but McKenzie was her usual demanding self, with lots of yelling. Those of you who know her, knows she is incapable of an inside voice. Any who, we took the girls to my sister in laws where Shon's mom is and had a nice dinner without a diaper bag or having to entertain with books and goldfish. I did get to eat my dinner while it was still hot and took dessert home with me! My whole family joined us! I guess I didn't do too bad afterall! Can't put a price on a child-less dinner!

I am also including a photo of Hailey's new bathing suit. I got it from Old Navy, it was cheap and cute, but she insisted on putting on the minute we got it. She did the modeling herself and I thought it was funny how she knew how to pose!
