The Happiest Place on Earth!!!!

So we went to Disneyland finally. We had been telling Hailey for a long time, that once she was potty trained, we would reward her by taking her to Disneyland. Well she has been potty trained for a little while now, so we finally made good on our promise. She loved every minuite of it. She got to meet Ariel and talk with Cinderella. We hugged Mickey Mouse, saw Belle and Sleeping Beauty. We rode tons more rides this time than we did last year when we took the girls. It was a beautiful day!

That was Then, This Is Now . . . .

So I have been bugging Shon to find this photo of us forever!! It was 10 years ago!!!!!! Yep, it's true, Shon and I dated for about 6 months, 10 years ago, and broke up! Don't worry, it wasn't for a lack of love, he wanted to get married and as you can see, I was just a youngin. I thought it would be fun for you readers to compare us then and now. The second picture was taken of us this past Christmas at his Company Christmas party and the first at, you guessed Christmas 10 yrs. ago. We were at a Single Adult activity singing Christmas Carols on a Hay ride!! Fun, huh? Any who, I hope everyone had a lovely Valentines. We stayed in with the girls of course and ordered Chinese!

So the weather here has been beautiful the last few days, and we have been spending some time outside! I love it and can't wait for Spring! I thought I would post a few pics of the girls. McKenzie's very naughty face, and the girls just playing together. Hailey decided one morning around 9 am, that they should both be in dresses for the day and picked out what she and her baby sister would wear, that is why they are all dressed up with no place to go!
As for us, we are doing okay despite the recent turn of events with Shon's Helicopter training. Life just isn't fair sometimes, I guess. On the bright side, Hailey is doing sooooo fabulous with potty training, sure it took her a long time to get, but when she did, it was a overnight change! No accidents, she goes in public, doing things all by herself, and we are so proud! It's been the easiest transition, we are lucky.

Our Science experiment

So back in October, Shon and I found this cute little catapillar on our front door. Hailey thought it was cool, so we made it a home and decided to keep it around for a bit. Well, about 4 days later it started to turn into a cacoon! Shon and I thought it would be so neat for Hailey to see this process and so it bacame a fixture in the kitchen. Around Christmas time, we decided it was dead and nothing was ever going to come of this cacoon, but Shon persisted, so we kept it around. Finally, last night after giving the girls a bath, we walked by and sure enough it lives!!! It's the most beautiful moth. It's white with tiny black spots all over it. We set it free last night, but thought I would show you a picture!
